Information Management and Information System was founded in 1983, and began to enroll students in 1985. This discipline is a major research and application field in the Management Science and Engineering. Based on the combination of modern management theory and methods, systems science theory and methods and information technology, this discipline aims to train qualified personnel specialized in information resource management and information systems, e-commerce systems, e-government systems, logistics and supply chain system construction and management.
